This is the second time I've faved this ,first time they were doing maintenance on da and it didn't take ,so here I am again . I think it's a stunning piece of work I love the colors you chose ,the pose is amazing and I like the textures also ,beautiful !
This is an extremely interesting picture, in that it blends what looks like two very different styles together (or perhaps even more). The illuminated parts look almost three dimensional, in an extremely physical sense (as though they really are popping off of the screen), whereas the figure herself, though three dimensional in another, more artistic sense, is clearly a drawing on the page (or screen, as the case may be). It's a combination that I normally wouldn't think could work, but it creates such a magical, entrancing image here, in this picture, that I'm very much in love with it. Apart from this beautiful blending of techniques and styles, I love that, although she looks very anime-ish, she still looks very realistic, in both body and face. The lighting is spectacular, and the shape that you create using her body. To me this image really looks well conceived and well put together, as though the image as a whole has been considered and thought out. My one qualm is that the fabric of her dress, the part that's lying on the ground, looks much less real that the rest of the drawing- perhaps the lines defining it are a bit too harsh. Fantastic picture. +fav
Are you sure you're not just being koi? Okay, that's not very funny.
But this image is lovely in every way. I love how well the pose compliments her wistful expression. The background and it's intrusion on the foreground suggest she is entertaining some rather chaotic thoughts. Good stuff!
Is this another original character that you personally drew and designed, Ale? She really does inspire that Asian Koi fish feeling... but the greaves on her boots feel a bit romanesque to me.
Her expression is very delicate and doll-like, and I think you nailed the subtle head-tilt angle that might have easily foiled a lesser artist. The facial proportions have a certain anime quality to them, which i suppose could be a continuation of the Asian theme?
Only negative: the very elaborate spear tip might be getting lost amidst all that other gold tho.
Yep, and who know it might even become useful for something in the future...who knows and yes she is suppose to look a bit manga like bu i think that the fact that i'm not asian cannot but shows ...(vedi roman-like-boots) and i know i think i got carried away with the textures in this one and personally i think they're a bit too much right now...but this artwork is almost 6 months old and i adjusted it so many times i think i cannot be happy with it anymore, (too late worked on it too much) so i just posted it, it was a now or never kind of thing :S
and Thanks Rob for always being so kind and usefull with you suggestions
